Memories flicker across shiny furniture and TV screens, lasting just for that snap moment of passing them by, like a glimmer in the corner of my eye.
I wish I could remember whether I wasted my time. Instead, I am forced into this loop of seeing each day as a new one, an opportunity to fuck up, perhaps again.
I have a front door and keys in my pocket.
I probably never want to leave. Why would I? Perhaps there is chaos behind these walls, and here, I have all I need.
Did I just come into my life? Feels like barging into someone else’s world.
An armchair, that will do. To rest before I figure this out.
It is easy when I close my eyes - as if memories are waiting behind the eyelids.
I wish everything would stay.
I wish I could use the headset one more time.
Because, you see, I am sure I left the lights on in there.
